Ruckus R650 High Performance Wi-Fi 6 4×4:4 Indoor Access Point with 3 Gbps HE80/40 Speeds
The Ruckus R650 access point (AP) incorporates the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology to enhance capacity, extend coverage, and improve performance in crowded environments. Positioned as our mid-range dual-band, dual-concurrent AP, the R650 supports six spatial streams (4×4:4 in 5GHz, 2×2:2 in 2.4GHz). With peak data rates of up to 2974 Mbps, it efficiently manages connections for up to 512 clients. Additionally, its 2.5GbE Ethernet ensures that backhaul does not hinder the utilization of available Wi-Fi capacity.
As enterprise wireless needs evolve beyond Wi-Fi to include BLE, Zigbee, and various non-Wi-Fi wireless technologies, network silos are created. To address this, enterprises require a unified platform. The Ruckus AP portfolio is designed to meet these challenges.
The Ruckus R650 is equipped with built-in IoT radios featuring onboard BLE and Zigbee capabilities. It serves as a converged access point, allowing seamless integration of new wireless technologies through the pluggable IoT module.
Beyond Wi-Fi 6 features like OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and TWT, the R650 incorporates Ruckus patented technologies. It is well-suited for medium-density deployments, such as office buildings, K-12 classrooms, libraries, and retail venues.
